Specialist, family run, nursery, garden & conservation centre

We are a small nursery situated in South Norfolk, which specialises in perennials and woodland plants. We have large collections of Geranium, Geum, Astrantia, Sanguisorba, and Polygonatum as well as many rare and unusual species. All of our plants are grown in Peat-Free compost.

There is always plenty to see at the nursery including our Gravel Bed, Shade Bed and The Barn Garden which are always open to walk around free of charge. See Garden for more details.

The Potting Shed is our multi-purpose building on the nursery where we serve home-made refreshments. It also provides us with toilet facilities and is the venue for our lectures and events which we hold throughout the year. See our Events page for more details.

At the nursery we have a collection of native and exotic animals, many of which are part of captive breeding programmes or release programmes. We have a wide range of species including Red Squirrels, English Partridge, South American Lapwing and several species of Crane. The collection is not open to the public, however, some of the animals can be seen from The Potting Shed windows and we do hold an annual wildlife day in May to allow you to get a little closer to some of the animals. See Animals for more details.
