The Barn Garden was first opened in 2007 and is still in development with new planting planned for 2010. Although only a small garden, it displays an extensive range of herbaceous perennials. Many of the plants in the garden are stock for the nursery and most are available to buy.

We normally open the garden for the season from our Spring Plant Fair in April. It will then be open to visitors free of charge up until we close in October. The best time to visit to see the garden looking its best is the end of May to July, although there is something of interest all year round.

The garden leads down to the Alpaca paddocks and a place where visitors can view some of our ornamental waterfowl collection as well as Cranes and Storks. Plus there are a few tables and chairs for you to relax on or maybe enjoy a cream tea.
