Sunday 5th October 2008 11am-2pm Free Entry Suggested donation of £1 towards breeding programme
Another of our themed Sundays, this is an opportunity to come along a get a closer look at our Red Squirrels.
Our animals are part of a captive breeding and release programme co-ordinated by the Welsh Mountain Zoo. This event is suitable for all ages and will give you an insight into the life of a Red Squirrel and the work of the breeding programme.
Short lectures will be held at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm followed by a leisurely walk around our collection, concentrating on native species.
The nursery will be open as usual, as will The Potting Shed, which will be serving a selection of home-made refreshments throughout the day. |
