Iris & Paeonia Festival

Free Entry
The Iris and Paeonia festival will bring together local nurseries offering a selection of seasonal plants including a wide range of bearded, sibirica and species Irises and hybrid and species Paeonias. We will also have free talks and a display of cut flower Irises and Paeonias.
East Anglia has become a hub for Iris growers, with vast field of Bearded Irises being grown along both the Waveney and Blyth valley, with June being the best time to appreciate them.
Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery is offering a wide selection of stock, with up to 40 Paeonia hybrids being available this year alongside a vast selection of irises, including a selection of exotic looking Louisiana hybrids and some new subtle Iris ensata’s.
The Potting Shed will be serving a range of homemade refreshments
